Days of "Strawberry Jam" without "J"
Dear Jam,
I have committed you to Nahnang as your primary caregiver for the whiles and Mamilou as the financier for the both of you. I would have been both had I been there but today is the big day at HOLCIM. I was just anxious all day, not to mention the loud headache I have wedded with a darned painful throat. I was just not feeling well as much as feeling less of myself that it wasn't until 1730Hrs, on our way to the HOLCIM from our hotel, did I get to call you. It was Nahnang who answered the call and let me know that you, Mamilou and her were on your way to Mamilou's office in El Salvador. Nahnang said that just right after you finished your bubble bath, Mamilou fetched you before proceeding to practice their Christmas presentation with her officemates.
You barely spoke to me and missing you wouldn't make me any better had I heard you. I heard you in the background and that was in your attempts to navigate Nahnang's phone by yourself or attempts to switch it off. So it was sweet and short. But I had known that it was today, like any other day that you wowed strangers. I am talking about Mamilou's officemates of course. They were speaking of how beautiful you are and went to the finer details of your physical attributes. But well, you were one to shy when Mamilou asked you to bat your eyes into your usual "Beautiful Eyes". It wasn't until after you enjoyed your Oishi Ube Pillow snacks did you warm up with a song and dance number of "Twinkle Twinkle". Nahnang caught it on video. You've been especially meticulous today, so Nahnang says, perhaps the reason for not obliging your audience. Early on, Nahnang had trouble getting you into a pair of shoes because you were determined to wear the one with "Titty" or Hello Kitty's face on. But you didn't win sorry, the other pair was missing, thanks to Fate for teaching you a lesson. You've also chosen the only thing you want to get your attention on and that was the van window on your way to and back from the office. Nahnang said she heard some muted mechanical humming, followed by the driver's discreet chuckling. It was when she paid full attention did she realize that you had spotted and played with the window controls. Oh well! Curious is what curious does!
JAMantic of the Day:
Like last night, tonight wouldn't be different with sleep. They shared that you wanted to make sure that as they lights were out for sleep that everyone was really asleep. To test Nahnang who slept beside you and Mamilou who was giving your the "Baby" tummy and back rub, you would either slap their face silly or ant pinch their faces until they gave in. They said the easiest way to get thru it was to ignore the pain. You have a great idea though but I am hardly consenting you to do it to anyone anymore. Ha ha ha!
Your Mommy,
