Dear Jam,It's Tita Carla's birthday today and we were asked by Auntielou Ching to buy her a surprise birthday cake. However, things didn't turn out as planned. We had hoped that we could gather the "Goddesses" but
everyone had to be busy with work
and that is including the birthday girl, you and I. So we had to do a little adjustment. You, your Nahnang and I went to Missy Bonbon and bought several cakes; so there's one big birthday cake for the celebrant, another cake for you, me, Nahnang and those who couldn't join the party, and another cake to make up for what else is missing. Then we bought souvenirs, which were gold makeup/hand bags, to be distributed equally to the Goddesses. Since we couldn't attend the little party hosted by CCF Girl's group, we dropped the cake off to Tita-Ninang-Jollibee-Ma'am-Deen who will bring it later with her. It was our first time to visit the Jollibee branch she was
managing and I have to say the architecture is exquisite. Nahnang and I loved it and so did you; you were running around the place in no time. In turn, Tita-Ninang-Jollibee-Ma'am-Deen and Tita Babap went to visit the cafe after the former's shift and the latter's NCLEX class. I had them try the internet out for free and they look satisfied with our service. Unfortunately, due to the hectic schedule in the cafe, I wasn't able to take a picture of you and Tita Babap.
At home, your Nahnang and I discussed the blog that we were going to run together. So aside from my "365 Days of Strawberry Jam" we will be doing "101 Hearts Cagayan de Oro" to cover the things and feature the wonderful places and most wanted food in the city. We want to make it for the upcoming fiesta, time permitting. We'll see.
