TO: The ANGEL in my Womb
Dear Strawberry Jam,
(or Angel)
Strawberry Jam sounds yummy, doesn't it?
I am depressed because (1) your Ate Josel is leaving in a couple of days and the comfort zone that we got used to is going to be broken by a new househelp. I don't seem to trust the next one though I haven't seen her, I have qualms. But this problem was solved earlier today when we, with your help, decided that Ate Josel return to us by mid-December as your guardian and mine whilst you're still entombed in my womb. She agreed and I was slightly relieved. (2) Your Mamilou hasn't spoken to me or to Ninang Jaijai the way she used to. The strain between the three of us worsened and if she intended this as a lesson - I don't see what we'll learn out of it. I think we've taught her a lesson but she simply, being a mother and too proud about her position, wouldn't bow to being man-handled by her own children. Pray for me and your Ninang, baby and hope that everything goes well.
Oh, your Daddy texted again and said they'll be in France on the 8th. By then he'll find a way to get in touch with us...
I miss him. Don't you just?
