Milestone Memoir 2009

October 26, 2009

Dear Baby Kitten,

Ninang Jaijai just came by the room to join me in a laughfest about the "Gumpire". The "Gumpire" is a fictional character your Ninang and I created based on (somebody confidential). So anyway, he's got this amazing gum that occupies more space in his mouth than teeth are supposed to. Smaller teeth, bigger gum. Hence, the name "Gumpire". There, your Ninang and I were just talking off the top of our heads because the man who inspires the character has a son who happens to be older than you. We were just thinking how his son would look like? More teeth? More gum? Sorry, it's just for laughs, no offense meant.

Good news! Daddy called twice today; in the morning to greet us on his way to bed and in the afternoon to greet us good morning as we had our dinner. He heard you cry when he said goodbye.

Saturday was a day at home. Today is a day for lethargy, even my writing isn't as enthusiastic as I'd like it to be useful enough for a recollection of the previous days. Maybe because nothing much significant other than Daddy's call happened. Saturday,I translated POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS on FAMILY and PARENTING for Mamilou's Seminar from English to the vernacular. Imagine my relief...I mean, otherwise. I was metaphorically bleeding from the nose just spelling the words took so much time!

Sunday, we went to church and met Lolo Longking and his sidekick Tito Teoffe. Lolo Longking gave Ninang and I each a monetary present. We went to Carmen earlier than usual because you fell asleep on my shoulder, sweating on your brow because Limketkai was on generator mode; I didn't want you to have heat stroke. We had an ordinary day though we have Ninang around since it's her semestral break. We watched the thriller ORPHAN, which you rather found to be boring and soon dosed off while it played on.

*sigh*
I miss Daddy.

Love, Mamimeow
