November 17, 2009

Dear Baby Kitten

You lost a lot of weight it seems but gained a lot of height but that's not enough! We've got to do something but you need to help me sweetheart! It must be because we had so much fun these past few days and now it's gone, you're rebelling on me by not eating enough.

November 12
Ninang Jai and I left you in the care of Ate Josel because we went out to buy the liquor. I wanted to bring you with but we just had too much to carry. We also bought the MONOPOLY board gae and pick-up sticks from a grumps saleslady in Gaisano. I'm glad I held my tongue for her sake and mine. Whew!

November 13
I went away with your Tita Den to join a CCF (Christ Commission Fellowship) ladies-only event called "Women of Strength". I say went away because Mamilou didn't know. Had she known, she would comment on the fact that I've joined a non-Catholic event. She knew eventually!

November 14
We had an early start! We went to Casa Crystalla and checked in with Ate Hannie at 1500Hrs. The rest of the girls joined us at 1600Hrs onwards, after their work. They were tired but not too tired for the Gala-lympics (Gala+Olympics). Unfortunately, Tita Lyka and Tita Janila didn't get to join us. Unfortunately for all of us, at 0000Hrs, (as soon as Tita Carla and Tita Vanessa left) we were visited by a voice of a phantom woman, which recurred at 0300HRs when everyone else was asleep but Nahnang and I. I had to exit the silence of the room, went down and took pictures of DV Soria at 0300Hrs. But serendipity led me to reunite with my mentors and friends Benjie S. Manuel (famous gown designer, couturier) and Glenn Cabaral (Director, Playwright, Talent and Events Manager).

November 15
We didn't leave the Casa immediately. We ; your Ninang, you and I had to stay so fix some stuff before going home, which we eventually did at 1300Hrs whence we all fell asleep on our backs soon after shower. At 14ooHrs Ninong Van fetched us, Ninang Jaijai included because she wanted to hang out in Carmen. We played the Monolpy and well...saw the 2009 MTV EMA (European Music Awards) Awarding of Tokio Hotel as the Best Group. That would be OUR band! :D

November 16

Yesterday, we slept fo all the energy spent for the past couple of days. We slept quite well, you and I and when Ninang Jai arrived home, we watched that cute kid's movie "SHORTS".

November 17
Today, we went to SM in the afternoon after we managed to subdue your bouts of restlessness and your hesitation to take in enough food. After sufficient rest and food, we went out to buy Mamilou's birthday gift for the 24th. We bought her a nice set of pencil-and-sign pen. Let's cross our fingers that she will like it. We also bought you a a four-piece set of books by Brainy Baby. Another thing which hasn't happened for a long time, happened today and that is Daddy calling us!
AND of course, you wouldn't say anything more than mumble a letter or two. Too bad the line wasn't so clear enough for me to understand what he was really trying to say. I've uploaded our pictures from the gala to FB and guess what? Most of the comments were for you!
