DAY 338; August 3rd, 2010
Dear Jam,
We went to check out the pad suggested to us by a contact. It's in a peaceful subdivision of RER Phase 1. I woke up early to a call from the contact and we were told to meet before we went to work. So after a brunch of sunny-side-up and tuna sandwich (and Baby Einstein for our visual desert), we went to meet an old lady driving a small yellow car. Very reminiscent of Mr. Bean, right? So you were fascinated with the cuteness of which was the car and the pad that we saw. Sanitation, OK. Security, OK. Parking for the bike, OK. Size, well that's where we have problems. For people as big as Daddy (whose name alone is BIG enough for the whole room) I, and with you growing up, it won't be enough. The rent is reasonable but the space will not accommodate us even more so when we move our things there.Daddy is excited about moving on Sunday. He just bought his ticket and will be arriving by Saturday and by then we will have paid the down payments. I am excited too but I'm just considering a couple of things right now.
What takes me off from worrying about is the fact that you've been adorable this day. We had a female customer at closing time who was quite complacent about putting her purse at her unattended side. The side where the mouse is situated and which the hand often leaves when typing on the keyboard. So you come up to me waving her purse without her knowing and even as we were laughing about it, the girl didn't seem to notice anything had happened. Then there was your little request to your Ninong Vanvan. We were quite surprise because you weren't as close to him compared to Ninong Yolop but you sweetly urged him your "Shoosh" which he wore on you without complaint and even as he was left to care for you. Although Mamala was one to complain about your eating habit because you won't take anything but egg. But you enjoyed your first taste of Lactoflan which Mamilou brought from spares at their feeding program.
When we got home, we found Nahnang all covered with red spots, big spots, which were in fact her attack of hives. She gets it whenever she gets all nervous and I think this is so because she had her final interview yesterday for the job she was trying to apply. It was going to be her first job, so she may have been that shaken. However, she forgot about it too when we all cheered at your dancing to Mamilou's singing of "Ave, ave."
WORD FOR THE DAY:
"nah" - conjecture; used to react on something with shock, disagreement, or dismay. I forgot why you said it but you said it today, hearing from someone, I could only guess.
Your MAYmah,
