DAY 5: DEVOTION TO OUR LADY OF MANAOAG NOVENA

Dear Jam,
The officiating priest, Father William from San Jose de Mindanao Seminary, spoke about the miracle in Pampanga. It was said that Mama Mary appeared in the least likely place in the Philippine region that some people doubted it was a likely idea to build a church there, let alone a whole pilgrimage shrine. But today, devotees from the Philippines and pilgrims from around the world visit the shrine where there is a pool of water that claims to heal.
On the other hand and in the real world, there is a crazy rainshower and flood later on. On my way back to the cafe, I was caught in a traffic of flood water and vehicles. The water is just about knee-high some motorists, with cars that have lowered body cases, found it difficult to go through. There was a man who had to carry his bicycle to get across! *sigh* What is the world coming to?
