Dear Baby Kitten,
Your Tita (confidential) came to pay us a visit today to tell us her family problems; she's really dug a deep hole and she's all the way in it this time. I'm just glad she finally came around to visit us after a long time. Her story: she has two babies, one she just recently gave birth to, from a married man with three legal children from his wife. Now, the man's wife is calling her, constantly berating her about adultery issues. Your Tita says she's taken herself out of the picture a long time ago and she just couldn't stand the harassment. I can't judge the wife for that matter, too you know so all I can offer are prayers for all of them and my shoulder for your Tita to cry on. I hope God has a great plan for her. I can also offer my hands to massage her and my eyes to take her pictures should that assuage her or at least proffer slightly therapeutic effects. But...there's always a BUT...I'm not totally overwhelmed by the issue because the thought of "adultery" has been knocking on the doorstep of my mind - constantly! Does that mean I have to be cautious with Daddy? Should I not trust him too much lest I would only get hurt whatever happens whenever? Or should I take care of our relationship to dissuade him from committing adultery? I think question three is a more likely idea. But you see, the people around me, the men I look up to as "fathers" disappointment me to think that men could really be good somehow, worthy of trust. *Tsk* How far my love? How far? My only hope is in trusting in the Lord's plans.
All this drama aside, I am happy to tell you that today, we practiced answering Daddy's call. You were very good during the practice, mimicking my cues of "Say Hello, Daddy" "Hi" and "I love you" but later when we tried it on Mamilou, you froze with those furrowed brows of yours because Mamilou was talking a lot over the other line.
