DAY 281: September 30th, 2010; THURSDAY

Dear Jam,

You gotta hand it to me, you know why? I
watched a Filipino film today! Another Judy Anne Santos chick flick - HATING KAPATID! HAHAH! I am very choosy with Filipino movies and especially the kind that comes off Judy Anne Santos' reel. But you, Daddy and I are huge fans of Sarah Geronimo so I watched. I couldn't regret having done so. It was hilarious and even more was the parallelism of our lives! Judy Anne Santos plays an overprotective, over-bearing older sister to a free-spirited Sarah Geronimo. They are close, just like Nahnang and I, the younger one just graduated, starting her own life - AND the older sister's boyfriend is a seafarer! HAHAH! Anyway, that was fun for a while and of course we had to resume to your prodding of gibberish, where the only word we understood was "dob" for "dog" that it was time for Baby Einstein. Aside from "dop" here are your new words for today:
WRIGGLY WORM > wig-wee-woe
CAT > tat
BIRD > bode
BUG > bud
RABBIT > abbit
DOLPHIN > da-fin
SEA HORSE > ey-haas

The last time Daddy taught you animal hand signs, you learned about how the "fish" wiggles, today, you learned how to put two hands together by the thumbs and then flapping your hands up and down, you can imitate a "bird". It's a bit challenging, it takes a great deal of motor skills, so we don't expect you to get it immediately. But you got a bit of it and that's good enough!;)

Before we proceeded to Lapasan, Daddy's craving for lansonez brought us to the market and you, to your feet, peering out of the window to gape at the cart of it saying "Mmmm nanam." You are a lansonez monster and a cookie monster! When I got home, you, my little cookie monster, delighted in Mamilou's gift for you - chocolate chip cookies! You nibbled it down with relish. Just one for the night though, said Daddy! While having our late coffee, Daddy and I discussed about the things we need to take care of separately, while he is there and while I am here with you, the pad and everything else that needs to be paid. *sigh* A couple of days more and in comes the inevitable. We had a random picture taking late at night and that should explain for your pic up there. You with Daddy's bling and then later on, as if applying roll on. Haha!

JAMantic of the Day:
1. You are a superstar and a DIVA for one! You met a girl who was
older than you at the cafe before closing time. You heard her shrill little voice and upped yourself from whatever situation you were in. You gave her that "inspecting" and yet deceivingly angelic look of yours, waved your hand to say "Hi" and in less than a minute, waved her off with "Bye!" Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! You're beating Mommy to it! Of course, I'm not like that and I'm not one to tolerate the attitude when you're big enough to understand why! xD

2. As you were reading through your story book,

I was surprised to find you quiet and satisfied to be without so much as a fuss. When I moved closer, I found you in that page where Goldilocks was eating off the Three Bear's porridge and just like the smoke coming off from the bowls were real, you blew and blew and made munching, eating sounds. Why are you so cute?! HAHAHAH!

You MAYmah,
