Dear Baby Kitten,
Rashes have started to appear at about 2100Hrs earlier today and suddenly, I realized that all the erratic temperature and lack of appetite could be signs and symptoms of Measles. You were scheduled to have your Measles vaccination shot on your ninth month but you started having fever before you even turned nine and we couldn't have the shot because fever is contraindicated. Anyway, you're still clapping your hands and eager to practice standing on the floor because on the bed. You show minimal hesitance to practice on the floor as you've intelligently deduced that landing on the floor with your butt would hurt much more than falling on the bed. Administering your medications is quite a challenge since there are three types of a different kind; an antibiotic in suspension, an antipyrtic or analgesic in syrup form, and the Solcosaryl paste for the gum eruptions. But even so, we still have to force it down your throat, hopeful of your recovery. Though I've stopped worrying on doing that since everything has else has been ruled out for Measles, I have to look forward for tomorrow's appointment with Tito Doc. We'll have to run your through COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT to make sure it's really Measles. I told Daddy already and I think he deserves to know and I think I deserve to share it to him. I can't carry this challenge alone, he has to be part of it. Hey! He made you too eh?
As always, despite the goings on your body, you can still smile at Ate Hannah (one of your twin cousin) who came by for my makeup service. I mean, I did her over for her Military Ball. I painted her toes, lent her my Ms. CDeO sexy pink casual and did her hair and makeup. I think she looked fabulous! Well, it runs in the blood! Pictorials prove so. You also, despite present condition, posed for the camera in your new watermelon suit and still looked fabulous yourself.
What's even cuter is that last night when Mamilou and I were talking about you in bed, you suddenly crawled to me and gave me a couple of your open-mouthed wet kisses without my encouragement. You also gladly obliged Mamilou when she asked for it, then gave me and her alternately a couple more smooches. *sigh* It made us forget to be worried that you were even sick.
Love, Mamimeow
